The Yankees rolled to their sixth straight win tonight, beating the Red Sox 14-3 behind three home runs from Mark Teixeira and five RBI from Francisco Cervelli. Teixeira’s final home run came off Red Sox outfielder Jonathan Van Every, but his second was a solo blast that gave the Yankees the lead for good. The bad news was Alfredo Aceves, who left the game because of a stiff lower back, continuing the trend of recent Yankees injuries. Aceves was credited with the win.
